    Quick update: if you haven’t seen it yet, this can now be handled with custom instructions for default templates.

    You can go to Preferences > Default Templates, select the relevant template, such as SOAP, and add an instruction in the User Instructions field at the top. For example: “In the History and Plan sections, include specific medication details when available, including drug name, dosage, frequency, instructions, and the last dose the pet received.”

    This should help address this request and give you more control over your notes without needing a full custom template.

    Thanks for the feedback. We are exploring ways to make all default templates customizable with specific instructions so you have more control over the output. This could include specifying additional details such as drug dosages and instructions in the history and plan.
