Talkatoo automatically uses abbreviations when user dictates specific things
Merged
If the DVM says "right ear", it would type "AD" etc. Ideally, a way to tell it what you want it to do with what you say, user-specific. Like my words but for the AutoSOAP

Quick update: if you haven’t seen it yet, user instructions for default templates are now available.
You can go to Preferences > Default Templates, select SOAP, and add instructions in the User Instructions field at the top. This can be used to specify shorthand or abbreviation preferences for Auto SOAP, such as how certain dictated phrases should be written in the final note.
For example: “Use my preferred abbreviations when appropriate, such as right eye = OD, left eye = OS, right ear = AD, and left ear = AS.”
This should help address this without needing a full custom template.
Thanks again for the feedback, and please let us know what you think if you give it a try.

We are adding user instructions for default templates where specific instructions like this can be added.
