- Administered Leptospirosis and Bordetella vaccine
- Rx: ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention
- Rx: Bravecto for flea and tick prevention for 1 year
*Diagnostics: *
- Senior wellness blood work panel including fecal, heartworm test, CBC,
chem, and T4
*Treatments/Medications:*
- Continue joint supplement as per current regimen
*Client Communication:*
- Discussed obesity management and provided calorie intake guidelines
- Discussed ear irritation and previous use of Mometamax; recommended
keeping an ear cleaner on hand
- Informed client about the benefits of bi-annual exams for senior pets
- Discussed scheduling for other pets in the household for their health
management
*Follow-Up:*
- Recommend bi-annual senior exams for monitoring health status, especially
for new lumps or changes in dental and ear health.
This is great bc right now often the ”plan“ is too wordy with too many things repeated and in a weird order w/ the meds mixed in or in a weird sentence instead of an RX So that it isn’t clear whether it was actually dispensed. I changed the format to bullet points hoping that would help organize it and get rid of the excessive wordiness. It’s helped a bit but I’m still getting wordy phrases in each bullet and I’m getting too many bullet points and some bullet points are repeated multiple times throughout the list in slightly different ways so I have to go back and do lots of editing.
